Bivouac camping offers an extraordinary escape tailored for those with an affinity for simplicity and a yearning for adventure. In such a setting, enjoy the pleasure of savoring the tasty Bedouin cuisine, engaging in conversations with the Bedouins, and exploring the magic of desert life.
Emerging from a night spent under the enchanting starry night, your awakening coincides with the sun’s gentle rise, casting its warm glow upon the rugged Wadi Rum mountains. In these moments, you’ll understand the profound fascination that draws us to embrace the challenges of desert life—the exquisite harmony of nature’s rhythms, the unrivaled tranquility, and the simple wonders that we live.
We have different locations dedicated to the Bivouac Camping. One of them is THE CAVE, well, it is not properly a cave, it is a shelter leaning against a high rock face which works as a shelter from the wind. It is very useful in case of bad weather conditions. Normally we head to beautiful, hide spots, far from everything, where guests can enjoy a quite and silent sleeping under the starry sky.
After your daily activities, our guide will take you to your desert location for the night. He first will prepare the bivouac along with our Bedouin Tea. Then he will cook a tasty Traditional Bedouin Dinner.
After dinner he will prepare the night camping providing everything you need: Carpet, mattress, pillows, blanket and – on request – even a sleeping bag and a Canadian tent.
You will stare at the billion stars above you, chatting, sipping tea and enjoying the special night ahead!
Guests who book a desert experience have a rate that includes 1 or more overnight stay at our camp. Apart from this basic rate, we charge an extra fee for the each night under the stars.
AT LEAST TWO PEOPLE:
• Rate per Person = 25 JOD
• More than 4 people = 20 JOD
• More than 7 people = 15 JOD
HOW TO BOOK:
When booking an experience, specify that you intend to sleep under the stars. You will find a specific option in our contact form.
We will then confirm the availability of this option for the requested dates.
For guests who booked daily experiences without overnight, rates are as follows:
AT LEAST TWO PEOPLE:
• Rate per Person = 35 JOD
• More than 4 people = 30 JOD
• More than 7 people = 25 JOD
HOW TO BOOK:
When booking an experience, specify that you intend to sleep under the stars. You will find a specific option in our contact form.
We will then confirm the availability of this option for the requested dates.
