Mohammed Mutlak Camp is one of the oldest and most respected Bedouin camps in Wadi Rum, Jordan.
Established over 25 years ago by Salem, a local Bedouin deeply connected to the desert, the camp was named in honor of his eldest brother, Mohammed Mutlak. This tribute reflects the family's commitment to preserving and sharing their heritage.
As one of the first officially registered camps in the Wadi Rum Protected Area, Mohammed Mutlak Camp has played a significant role in introducing travelers to the authentic Bedouin way of life. Over the years, it has been recognized in various travel guides and publications for its genuine hospitality and unique desert experiences.
The camp is strategically located in the "Sunset Area" (Um Sabatah), offering guests breathtaking views of red and white sand dunes, especially during sunset. Its remote setting ensures a tranquil environment, perfect for stargazing and immersing oneself in the desert's natural beauty.
Accommodations at Mohammed Mutlak Camp blend traditional Bedouin design with modern comforts.
